In Part II of our little trip down memory lane, it’s time to reminisce about the time Taylor and I visited 3 countries (actually, Taylor did 4!) in 12 days over our Fall break while studying abroad. (Part I here!)
Taylor and I were crazy excited about our “backpacking extravaganza.” Literally – two backpacks. Jansports. They may look small, but each weighed as much as a small child.
The first stop on our trip was Amsterdam! After sitting in some shoes, taking embarrassing photos at the Amsterdam sign, and walking around we got some Thai food. Because that’s the first thing you think of when you think Amsterdam, right? Anyway it was so good and perfect after our day of traveling.
Then we met up with some friends from school for some Amsterdam-ian night life. And snacks:
Amsterdam was amazing, but after two days it was off to Prague. After making approximately 239,343 Praha-hahaha and Czech this out! puns and traveling on our over-night train, we made it (albeit a little tired) to Prague!
Final stop on my tour (second to last for Taylor) was PARIS! After riding on the jankiest plane ever at 5 in the morning (literally there was duct tape holding my window together…) we made it to Paris bright and early.
Drinking some wine out of baby bottles
And gummy bears at the Eiffel Tower!
We had so many fun adventures and those 12 days are definitely some that I will never EVER forget. So thanks for going with me Taylor…I’m thinking maybe we should plan another trip soon? Yes? Maybe after our underemployment ends?
