Breakfast of Champions

Interview today, wish me luck! Here is one of my favorite breakfasts to get the morning off to a good start…

Honey Granola


2 cups rolled oats (gluten free or regular)
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 golden raisins (or craisins)
1/3 cup slivered or chopped almonds
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/4 cup honey

Preparation Instructions

Preheat oven to 325. In bowl combine oats, sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and almonds. In saucepan over low heat (or microwave) add butter and honey, stir to blend. Pour over oat mixture and stir to blend. Bake until golden and crunchy, about 20-25 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Serve with yogurt and fresh fruit. Makes 3 cups.
